Hidden Skills SMS Program

Hidden Skills LLC delivers personalized skill reports to students enrolled in programs run by our partner schools and education organizations. This page documents how participants consent to receive text messages from Hidden Skills, including how consent is handled for participants under 18.

How consent is collected

1. Parent or guardian permission (participants under 18). The partner organization obtains signed permission from a parent or guardian authorizing the student's participation and program communications. For any participant under 18, this parental permission is the basis for sending text messages; a minor's agreement on their own is not sufficient.

2. SMS disclosure and confirmation (all participants). The first time a participant visits the Hidden Skills website, they are shown the following message once and check a box to agree. The box is not pre-checked. For participants 18 and older, this is their own consent. For participants under 18, it confirms the SMS terms alongside the parental permission above.
